The Rector of NTUA participates in the meeting of Rectors and Presidents of the EULiST University Alliance

On January 29-30, 2025, NTUA Rector Professor Ioannis Hatzigeorgiou participated in the meeting of the Rectors and University Presidents of the EULiST Academic alliance which took place in Vienna, Austria, at the headquarters of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien).

The meeting was conducted in an extremely positive atmosphere of cooperation and the participants jointly reached important decisions regarding the administration, organization chart and future of the alliance.

All heads of participating Universities expressed their will to work intensively towards the realization of the ambitious goal of the alliance which is to form the basis for the establishment of a European Academic Body, with an official legal entity, which will actively participate and excel both in the European and the global field of higher education and research, ensuring the connection of science with society.
