Event for the proposed new professional master's degree «Marine Performance Engineers»
NTUA’s new professional postgraduate program "Marine Performance Engineers" was presented during a special event on Thursday 11/4/2024 that was held at the Eugenides Foundation. The program is organized by the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Information and relevant details on the program were presented by the Rector of NTUA Prof. Ioannis Chatjigeorgiou, as well as the Dean and faculty members of the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
A significant number of representatives from the Greek Shipping Industry, Ship Classification Societies and representatives of technical/consulting companies attended the meeting. During the discussion that followed, useful opinions, data and conclusions were obtained that will be further utilized for the detailed structuring and optimization of the content of the proposed postgraduate program, which is expected to significantly contribute to issues of green shipping, blue growth, and energy transition.
