Methodology

The implementation of the project will be performed through the development of five tasks :

  1. Collection of data concerning the production of industrial hazardous waste in the Viotia Prefecture,
  2. Design and construction of the demonstration plasma unit,
  3. Testing of the performance of the demonstration plasma unit for the treatment of different types of hazardous waste in various operating conditions,
  4. Analysis of the overall results in order to set the technical specifications for the application of the plasma technique in a full scale plant,
  5. Dissemination of the extracted results to the Greek Ministries and local authorities, the associations of the industrial sectors, the E.C. countries and the national and international community.
