Like most states in Europe, Summer (Daylight-Saving) Time is observed in Greece, where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour; 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+3).
After the Summer months the time in Greece is shifted back by 1 hour to Eastern European Time (EET) or (GMT+2).
The type F plug, defined in CEE 7/4 and commonly called a "Schuko plug", is like type E except that it has two grounding clips on the sides of the plug instead of a female ground contact. The Schuko connection system is symmetrical and unpolarised by design, allowing live and neutral to be reversed. The socket also accepts Europlugs and CEE 7/17 plugs. It supplies up to 16 amperes. It is used in Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and Uruguay.
Athens
The suburban railway connects the Athens with the various regions near of it. It has two lines, one from the Airport to Kiato and one from SKA (Archanai Railway Station) to Pireaus. It is also connected with the Metro at Doukissis Plakentias (Line 3), Larissa Station (Line 2), Neratziotissa (Line 1) and Pireaus (Line 1).

For East Attica suburbs and coastal resorts like Rafina the terminals are in Pedion Areos next to the junction with Alexandra's avenue. OASA has create an innovation with the bus line 400 that takes you to the most interesting sites of Athens the ticket costs 5 euro and it makes a sightseeing tour of Athens.The bus 400 goes from the Archaeological museum to Omonoia, Psyrri, Kerameikos,Thiseion, Monatiraki, athens Market, Klafthmonos Square, Syntagma Square, Benaki museum, National Gallery, Ampelokipoi, Stadium, Plaka,Acropolis, Olympian Zeus temple, Greek Parliament, University and Omonoia. Frequency every 30 minutes.
The tram of Athens as well as the metro was one of the most innovating projects that the Greek government did in an effort to develop the traffic network of Athens. The tram connects Athens from Parliament square all the way down to Sygrou Avenue and continues along the coastal Poseidonos Avenue to the south coastal suburbs until Voula.
