When reporting a security insident, please give your full name, Institution or Company name, location and contact information. Please supply us with as much information as it's possible to help with understanding the situation. When sending time stampted logs make sure that your auditing systems are in pace with authoritative time systems (ntp servers). If possible when sending email, sign your message. If it contains sensitive information encrypt it too, using our PGP ver. 2.6.3i public key. CERT-GR cannot respond to reports that don't give the above information, because it's nessesary to identify and certify the source of the report.

Upon reception each Incident Report is assigned a Trouble Ticket number through which it can be referenced and traced in the future. All reports are handled with discretion.

As mentioned above, the CERT-GR responds to the greek domain, so if you want to report an incident taking place in another country, and is not directly related with any greek system, please, contact your local team. A full list of all the European Teams exists at the EuroCERT site.
