CERT-GR is operating whithin the Greek National Research Network, which connects the Greek Universities, Technical Institutes and most of the Research Centers. Its aims are:
The CERT-GR is hosted at the National Technical University of Athens Network Operations Center and manned by its staff. The team is a member of EuroCERT, the association of all the European IRTs.

Incident reports can be sent to CERT-GR through e-mail at
When reporting a security insident, please give your full name,
Institution or Company name, location and contact
information.
Please supply us with as much information as it's possible to help
with understanding the situation. When sending time stampted logs
make sure that your auditing systems are in pace with authoritative
time systems (ntp servers).
If possible when sending email, sign your message.
If it contains sensitive information encrypt it too, using our
PGP ver. 2.6.3i public key.
CERT-GR cannot respond to reports that don't give the above information,
because it's nessesary to identify and certify the source of the report.
Upon reception each Incident Report is assigned a Trouble Ticket
number through which it can be referenced and traced in the future.
All reports are handled with discretion.
As mentioned above, the CERT-GR responds to the greek domain,
so if you want to report an incident taking place in another country,
and is not directly related with any greek system, please, contact
your local team. A full list of all the European Teams exists at the
EuroCERT site.
