The Hellenic Society for Earthquake Engineering the Laboratory of Soil Mechanics of the National Technical University of Athens and the Earthquake Engineering Committee of the Japanese Society of Civil Engineers are co-organizing
the 3rd Greece – Japan Workshop on Seismic Design, Observation and Retrofit of Foundations With Special Issue on Protection of Cultural Heritages
The workshop will feature a SPECIAL SESSION and KEYNOTE invited lectures by experts from Japan and Greece, but also from USA, UK, France, Algeria, China, India and Taiwan. Strong emphasis will be on panel and informal discussions.
The Workshop will be held on September 22 -23, 2009 at the 'Petros Nomikos' Conference Center at the Island of Santorini, Greece
The official language of the Workshop is English.
