Cryptix products are free, and the Cryptix Development Team has no budget for providing help or for fixing problems. We will try our best, but money-making projects come first. Often it will take us several days to get a chance to look at a question, so please be patient.

Problems, bug reports and other requests should be posted to the mailing lists. We would encourage everyone to end their posts with "Has anyone else seen this?" or somesuch, and hope that someone has :)

If you're looking for information on security in Java you might find the USENET newsgroup comp.lang.java.security a useful resource.

If anyone would like to discuss a more formal support arrangement, please mail us. You can find the appropriate addresses on the feedback page.

Here are the terms:

• Please keep posts limited to Cryptix issues. These mailing lists are maintained to keep our users up to date with Cryptix issues only. If a wider subject matter is desired, we have no objection in principle to setting up another mailing list.
• No spam or commercial email permitted on the Cryptix mailing lists. None.
• To avoid spam, all posts must come from a subscriber.
• The preferred place for bug reports is on the list. If you are not subscribed, you should. Bugs can also be sent to bugs@cryptix.org but no reply is likely, this is a one-way transfer to a suitable developer.
