Η παρουσίαση – διάλογος – ανοικτή συζήτηση προτείνεται σε συνέχεια της ανοικτής παρουσίασης  «Χαρτογραφώνας τα Κοινά Αγαθά, Αθήνα» (5 Απριλίου 2011), σε μια προοπτική συνέχισης της συζήτησης γύρω από την έννοια του «κοινού» και των «κοινών αγαθών». Η ομότιμη παραγωγή θέτει το ζήτημα της εξόδου από την κρίση με την προβολή ενός νέου μοντέλου παραγωγής. Οι Κοινότητες Γνώσης ανοίγουν το θέμα της πολιτικής μετεξέλιξης του Δημόσιου Πανεπιστήμιου στην μετά τον μετα-φορντισμό εποχή, σε μια προσπάθεια εξόδου από τα αδιέξοδα που το οδηγεί  παγκόσμια η σημερινή νεοφιλελεύθερη πολιτική. Define a number of buildings that carry historic – symbolic meaning. Focus also to the most recent history . Examine the possibility to renovate even significant for the history – development of the city, hotels.

“This spatial “shell” is still very much alive and continuously evolving even without inhabitants. Therefore one needs to address the city as a living organism and understand how it evolved without population for almost 4 decades, in contrast to its evolution with population for 3 millenniums.΄”

A desire that must be relocated, localized, that will have a totally different meaning after the first attempt to “rebuilt” the city.

Parametric Urbanism as a catalysing tool for actors’ negotiation. What is the minimum consensus for operators to enter the field?

1 . Public buildings to be preserved  (or negotiated) – an open discussion on their historic value
2 . Decreasing density as we are moving far from the Castle (?)
3 . Basic road axis to be preserved – secondary axis to be negotiated.
Water front / not a barrier. The need of a public space by the sea.
4 . Vertical axis connecting inland to the waterfront
5 . Tourist location facilities located not necessary on the waterfront.
Not a wall.
6 . Tourist attractors far from the sea – front. Small scale tourist shelter inserted into the urban fabric >>> towards a flexible disseminated system. The notion of a distributed hotel, organized in space.

Time factor:

-Now (before anything happens): The city is evolving in the minds of its inhabitants. Multiple and overlapping  thoughts, images, plans, desires…
-Just before the restart
-The first months – years
-The ongoing transformation in the future

Parametric planning: A digitally driven  collective intelligence process:

Parametric urbanism: Not a form finding tool, once and for all, but a collective intelligence tool constantly negotiating the city at all levels, proposing guidelines and referenced multiple micro transformations possibilities.
How local decisions affect a greater territory?
What mechanisms for a global decision?
On what the city lives?
